Cooking
Milk slightly heated. To the milk add the egg yolks, melted butter, sugar, and yeast.
300 g of sifted flour, pour in liquid mixture, stir.
Gradually add the flour knead the dough. The dough is kneaded until then, until it will not cease to stick to hands. The dough cover with a clean towel and put in a warm place for an hour to rise.
While the dough rises, prepare the pancakes. In warm whey add the egg, sugar, vegetable oil lightly whisk. Add the sifted flour.
Bake the pancakes in a hot pan on both sides.
The diameter of my pan is 22 cm I got this shot.
For the filling, in a blender grind the nuts.
Add the dried fruit and grind again.
Proteins whisk, add the sugar and lemon zest. I have a zest dry out of the bag.
To the protein mass add the cheese. I have cottage cheese with lumps. You can RUB the cottage cheese through a sieve, but I like the grainy structure.
Coming up the dough once kneaded. Divide the dough into 2 parts.
One part roll out thinly and spread in a circular form (diameter 24 cm) so that an overhang is created. My shape is not detachable, so I played safe and made the bottom of the baking paper to make it easier to get the pie.
Put on the dough with two tablespoons cottage cheese filling, cover with a pancake.
Sprinkle with mixture of nuts and dried fruit and cover with a pancake.
Alternate pancakes and toppings. Top the pancake grease with cottage cheese filling and sprinkle with mixture of nuts, prunes and dried apricots.
The rest of the dough divide into two unequal parts. A large part of the roll out thinly and cover our filling.
Hanging edges of the dough with scissors I cut it into strips. Each strip twisted and laid one on another.
From the remaining dough cut out the circle and multiple flagella. It turned out the sun.
The finished cake liberally lubricated with egg and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 45-50 minutes.
