Czech cake
"Not red hut angles, and red cakes"! What could be tastier than homemade hot cake? Especially in the winter? Very tasty, very airy cake. Honestly, I did not expect so yummy! Recipe taken from the magazine "Collection of recipes".

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Milk

    125 g

  • Yeast

    30 g

  • Flour

    550 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    2 tsp

  • Raisins

    3 Tbsp

  • Almonds

    4 Tbsp

  • Lemon peel

    2 tsp

  • Salt

  • Butter

    250 g

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add 2 tbsp icing sugar, leave for 30 mins in a warm place.

Mix melted butter 250g., 1 egg and zest. Add yeast, remaining sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Pour the flour.

Add to the dough raisins, 3 tbsp chopped almonds. Knead the dough. Leave it for 50-60 mins I climbed faster.

Then the dough punch down and let rise again.

Divide the dough into 3 parts, roll 3 harness.

To weave a braid and secure the ends. Spread on a baking sheet, covered with baking paper and greased.

Brush with beaten egg yolk, sprinkle with 1 tbsp chopped almonds. Leave for 15-20 min. Bake 35-40 min. in oven at 180 degrees.
