Cooking
Half pineapple, cleaned, cut into slices thickness of about 1 cm, each slice cut into 4 pieces.
In a frying pan on medium heat to heat the water, butter and brown sugar Demerara. When the sugar has dissolved, put in pan with the pineapples and put them in the syrup for 10 minutes. Then remove the pan from the stove.
For the dough: mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar, gradually add eggs, flour, starch and baking powder. Put the dough in a greased form (better split), from above to lay the pineapples and pour a small amount of syrup from the pan, place in preheated to 180 gr. the oven for 25 minutes.
While the pie is baking, prepare the meringue. Beat the whites of 3 eggs with a pinch of salt in a dense foam, add brown sugar Mistral Demerara and lemon juice. Beat until obtaining stable mass.
25 minutes to get the pie out of the oven and decorate the protein mass.
Bake for another 20 minutes. To get the pie from the oven and allow to cool in the form.
