Cooking
To prepare the pumpkin, remove the rind and seeds. We need 250 g of peeled pumpkin, which should be cut into small pieces and place in a casserole dish in the Oven heated to 180-200 degrees. Put the pumpkin in a hot oven and bake until fully cooked. Cooking time will differ from the varieties of pumpkin, so at the time, see for yourself. It took me about 40 minutes and I had to cover the pumpkin with foil to keep it from baking. The finished pumpkin should be soft.
Slightly chilled pumpkin to turn into puree using a blender. I had to add 2 tbsp of water. The pumpkin puree add spices to taste - cinnamon, nutmeg, and gingerbread mixture, if available. If not, then not very important. Mix well.
Proceed with the dough. I prepared in the breadmaker. If not, then everything is done by hand, of course. Pour in KHP flour, sugar and salt.
I used brown sugar "Mistral small".
And then add all the remaining ingredients for the dough: dry yeast, milk, egg, butter and pumpkin puree. Knead homogeneous dough. Do not hammer the dough with flour. And do not tire of repeating: flour takes more or less depending on many factors.
The ready dough put in a deep dish, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place to rise 2 times. In the winter I put the dough in the oven at temp-re 50-60 deg.
The dough rise 2 times. Roll it to a thickness of about 1 cm by a Narrow glass to cut out circles (diameter 7 cm).
And the edge of the resulting semicircle to glue together. It turns out that something similar to a dumpling.
Received five petal put next in the shape of a flower. And in the center place a small lump of dough. Note: the baking tray to pre-lay a paper for baking.
It is about 9-10 flowers. Put them on the second rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Then heat the oven to 180 degrees. The buns, with small number of CMV milk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes until Golden brown.
