Found the recipe in an old book (before the days of Internet). His original name "Babka with cheese". But prepared differently. Raisins replaced the candied fruit and made in the form of small cakes. Help yourself!

To prepare the filling. To the curd add the egg yolk, 2 tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of salt, and dried fruit. Mix well.

In a separate container to pour the milk, add a tablespoon of sugar and egg white. Mix well. Pieces of bread, dip one side into the milk mixture and put in a form greased with butter, wet side down. Put the stuffing. Cover with slices of bread, wet side up. Bake in the oven at 200C. It took me 15 minutes. Look at the oven. Once the crust is browned - ready!
