Puff pastry stars with custard
A quick dessert made with prepared puff pastry with sweet cream, reminiscent of creme brulee.

Ingredients

  • The dough is flaky yeast

    500 g

  • Butter

    70 g

  • Brown sugar

    0.66 cup

  • Cream

    0.66 cup

  • Cream cheese

    150 g

  • Vanilla

    1 tsp

Pre-thawed at room temperature, the dough a little roll out and shape cookie cutter to cut out stars.

Put the stars on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 10-15 min. before Browning.

While the stars are baked, prepare the cream. For the cream: beat with a mixer on medium speed cream cheese, butter and cream.

Add Demerara sugar. Continue to beat until smooth.

Ready stars cool, make cuts along the veins and fill with cream.
