Fowl-Midas
Fowl-Midas Egyptian dish of beans, is eaten as a hot dish. Fascinated me with their interesting flavour. Could substitute for mashed potatoes. Will be indispensable during lent.

Ingredients

  • Beans

    250 g

  • Lentils

    4 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice

    2 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    6 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Olives

  • Parsley

Beans with lentils, rinse and soak overnight in cold water.

In the same water bring to boil and simmer with lid ajar cook an hour and a half to complete softness. In the process of cooking the water should completely evaporate.
