Basque cake with cherry and chocolate
Very fond of me baking recipes Irina fadeaway, this cake is no exception. Shortbread chocolate dough with a cherry and nuts in the stuffing won my heart at first sight, but when I tried this wonderful cake, I could not break away from another piece. Try it and You, it's delicious! Photos turned out not too presentable, the guests were on the doorstep, I didn't give good to drain juice from the cherries and the filling came out less dense, but the taste is not affected. Couldn't resist not to share this wonderful pie recipe.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Butter

    120 g

  • Cocoa powder

    25 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Yolk egg

    4 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    40 g

  • Sugar

    60 g

  • Milk

    400 ml

  • Flour

    40 g

  • Vanilla pod

    1 piece

  • Dark chocolate

    60 g

  • Almonds

    100 g

  • Cherry

    150 g

  • The sugar syrup

Cooking

First, prepare the custard. Mix the yolks with the flour and sugar.

Milk with sugar and vanilla, bring to a boil, pour it over the yolks, stirring well. Cream to pour back into the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.

To cool the cream to 60 degrees and add the chocolate and stir until it dissolves. Turns smooth cream.

Add the almonds and cool.

Pour the warm syrup is not defrosted cherries (it will remain round and full). Be sure to give after a good draining, and otherwise it will be watery after baking.

Prepare the dough. Mix softened butter with eggs, icing sugar, cocoa and rum.

Add flour and knead the dough. Divide it into 2 parts (2/3 and 1/3). Send for an hour in the fridge (the dough will be more plastic).

Roll out 2/3 of the dough and put in shape. Press to the bottom and the sides quickly so as not to break it. Spread on the basis of half of the cream, then the cherries, the cream again. Roll out 1/3 of the dough, cover with a filled base, cut edge.

Make a hole on top to release steam and bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
