Description

Orange sauce
Soft texture and light, tart, citrus notes of this lovely sauce will not leave you indifferent. Perfect with pancakes, ice cream, muffins etc.

Ingredients

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    2.5 Tbsp

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Potato starch

    1 tsp

Orange to wash, to remove finely (without the white part), peel, cut in half and squeeze the juice. Zest cut into thin strips, squeeze the juice of half a lemon, prepare the remaining ingredients. In a saucepan mix: juice of orange and lemon, sugar, zest and half the necessary water. Bring to a boil, reduce on medium heat to boil for 5-7 minutes. Starch to dissolve in the remaining water and stir, pour into a saucepan, stir and remove from heat. Our sauce is ready, Bon appetit.

Serve sauce can be hot or cold. I was served hot with pancakes, ice cream, mint and almond shavings.
