Children's Paschal cookies
This Easter biscuits in cute little animals will delight all children as a festive treat, especially if they actively participated in its preparation. Based on the recipe of the famous chef Martha Stewart.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    2 cup

  • Butter

    0.5 cup

  • Leavening agent

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

    0.25 tsp

  • Sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Vanilla

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Egg white

    1 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    1 cup

  • Lemon juice

    1 tsp

Beat butter and sugar with a mixer in a lush light cream. Add eggs and vanilla.

In a bowl sift flour, baking powder and salt.

Roll out the dough into a layer about 3 mm thick. Cut out cookies in Easter, rabbits, chickens, a lamb - symbols of Easter.

To prepare glaze, whisk lemon juice with egg whites into a light foam. Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to mix. The thickness of the glaze adjustable amount of powdered sugar. As dyes we used beet juice and spinach juice.
