Here are the simple products needed for our cake: red lentil company "Mistral", eggs, any soft cheese, cream, flour, onion, parsley, butter, salt, soda and black pepper (to taste).
Make the dough. Flour (3 cups) mix with salt and soda. 120 g butter cut into cubes and grind with the flour in the crumb. On the processor, but I prefer my hands to put into the dish a piece of his soul. You can sing "Sikidim, sikidim". Add 2 eggs.
Now the most difficult - to knead the dough. Knead until then, until all the crumbs are gathered in one lump. Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge.
While our dough is resting in the fridge let's prepare the filling for our pie. 1.5 cups red lentils (a Cup - 250 g) rinse, pour 1.5 cups of water and simmer for about 15 minutes. Salt is not necessary. First, over high heat, then switch to small. Periodically stir.
Now cut into cubes, onion, parsley, grate cheese.
Fry onion in butter until pink in color.
Add the lentils to the onions and parsley, fry a little. Salt, pepper. And leave to cool slightly.
Add the stuffing grated cheese, half a Cup of cream and 3 eggs
Stir potseluem still a good choice.
Now pull it out from the fridge the dough, roll out (0.5 cm) and level with the sides. The dough is very dense, I recommend to roll out small pieces, then put them into the mold, pressing and leveling arms and glass with a flat bottom.
I still have the piece of dough. I unrolled and cut the mold these little hearts for decoration.
We decorate our cake (optional). Bake the pie in the oven for 1 hour at a temperature of 180 first degree (20 minutes), and then switch to 150-140 degrees.
Cake out of the oven and allow to cool slightly.
Eating pie is better warm. This is such a wonderful pie with deep, rich flavor and Oriental notes we have. Bon appetit!
