Thai soup
This is a variation on the theme of Thai soups with seafood in coconut milk. In this dish I wanted to combine several favorite recipes, so don't look for this name in Thai restaurant menus. At least not yet. For the contest "One day in Thailand".

Ingredients

  • Coconut milk

    500 ml

  • Shrimp

    300 g

  • Mushrooms

    100 g

  • Lemon grass

    20 g

  • Lemon juice

    2.5 Tbsp

  • Ginger

  • Cilantro

    0.5 coup

  • Water

    300 ml

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Spices

  • Salt

If shrimp are frozen, you must defrost them. We shell all the shrimp except the tail.

Pour in a saucepan the coconut milk, bring it to boil, and subtract the heat, add grated ginger root, minced garlic and sliced lemon grass.

Pour in the boiling water.

Put the mushrooms...

... and then the shrimp.

Add the chopped coriander, add lemon juice.

Now it's time to add the spices and salt. Leave on very low heat without a lid for five minutes.

The soup is ready. Poured into plates.
