Polish Christmas cake
The richness of the spices are the basis of the flavor and aroma of this Christmas cake. Every woman, at its discretion, selects the spice blend: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg... a Good addition is a bit of allspice. Him say, and is the Polish name of the pie - "piernik". The main ingredients are cocoa and honey, thanks to which the pie has a nice color and flavor. I suggest one of the quick simplified variants of this pie. Merry Christmas!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Baking powder

    2 tsp

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Cocoa powder

    2 Tbsp

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • A mixture of spices

    2 Tbsp

  • Jam

    250 g

  • Dark chocolate

    100 g

Cooking

In a saucepan over medium heat melt the butter, add cocoa, spices, and honey and mix well. Turn off the heat, add milk and eggs, again mix well.

In a bowl mix the flour with sugar and baking powder. Pour the liquid ingredients and knead thoroughly.

Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or how I in a slow cooker, 60 minutes in the "Baking".
