Lenten cookies with cacao and almonds
Great cookies for tea while fasting, and not only. Sweet, fragrant, crunchy almonds.

Ingredients

  • Water

    260 ml

  • Cocoa powder

    1.5 tsp

  • Brown sugar

    60 g

  • Salt

  • Flour

    280 g

  • Soda

    1 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    4 Tbsp

  • Almonds

    50 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    2 tsp

Cooking

In a bowl, poured water, poured sugar, cocoa, salt and stir well. Put flour, soda, poured lemon juice, butter and didn't add the finely chopped almonds. The dough is mixed and put on with parchment paper baking sheet. Poured oil and flattened the dough with a spoon.

Put a baking sheet for 20 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven.

Cookies are soft and fragrant. To make it crispy, the cookie need a bit to dry, bake for five minutes more.
