Prepare the ingredients
RUB the softened butter, sugar and vegetable oil.
Add the egg, mayonnaise, semolina. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it to our mixture. Knead a soft dough.
Finely chop dates and add to the dough.
Roll out the dough sausages thick as a finger and cut into pieces with a length of 5 cm.
Each piece flatten the two ends to make pads with ears. Dip one side into sugar and spread on a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil.
Bake for 15-20 min.
Take out from the oven.
Spread on plates to serve.
