Description

Lentil stew with garlic
In Egypt, the soup is served sliced lemon. Divinely delicious!

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    400 g

  • Broth

    2 l

  • Onion

    3 piece

  • Tomato

    2 piece

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Black pepper

    0.5 tsp

  • Cumin

    2 tsp

Cooking

2 onions cut into quarters, the third dice.

With tomato remove the peel, cut into four parts.

Garlic peel, coarsely chop.

Tomatoes, quartered onion, garlic to put in the broth, boil for about 45 minutes.

10 minutes before the end of cooking, add the lentils.

In a frying pan, melt 1/2 tbsp of butter and fry the finely chopped onion.

Soup chop immersion blender.

Again heat, season with salt, pepper and cumin. Shortly before serving, season the soup with the remaining oil and sprinkle with fried onions.
