Poppy seed cookies
Crumbly cookies with crunchy poppy seeds and a light lemon acidity. Will appeal to adults and children!)

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Salt

    0.333 tsp

  • Mac

    5 Tbsp

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon peel

    1 tsp

  • Water

    180 ml

Cooking

Melted butter whisk with sugar until fluffy consistency.

Add the egg and mix.

Add the Sifted flour with salt and Mac (previously it is possible to dry on a dry hot pan). Knead the dough. Shift in plastic wrap and put into the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

To prepare sugar syrup: In a pot to connect the water and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 3-4 minutes. In the hot syrup add the lemon juice and zest. Turn off and allow to cool. After strain.

Ready divide the dough into small balls. I got 16 things.

You can flatten them slightly. I was crushed with a hammer for pounding meat)))

Put in preheated oven to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Ready hot biscuits pour the syrup and leave to cool.

Cooled cookies, sprinkle with powdered sugar as desired. Pour a Cup of tea and enjoy the sweets!))
