Separate the leaves and leave only the roots and shoots of spinach. use the leaves for another dish. It fits not young spinach, and already aged...
Wash each root thoroughly, then sand is not schrepel on the teeth. Cut off the lower part of the root.
In a wide pot or pan with a thick bottom put the onion into half rings, garlic mini cubes. On top lay the roots of spinach.
Tomatoes slices. Pour the oil, sprinkle with salt and red pepper. Sugar dissolved in lemon juice and pour on top. And at the end sprinkle with chickpeas. On medium heat without lid stew for 5 minutes. Then add water and close the lid. Simmer 25-30 minutes on low heat.
Wait, when cool and spread on a dish. Served cold. Can be served with garlic yogurt, sour cream.
