Mussels in red sauce with Chile
This is one of the many ways of cooking this mollusk is useful. For those who love seafood!

Ingredients

  • Mussels

    1.5 kg

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 piece

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Sweet pepper

    1 piece

  • Chili

    0.5 piece

  • Dry red wine

    300 g

  • Tomato paste

    300 g

  • Salt

Cooking

Mussels, well rinsed in cold water.

To prepare the foods: onions, garlic, chilli finely chopped, sweet pepper cut into half rings,

In olive oil fry the onion, garlic, (about 5 min),

Add sweet pepper, chilli fry for 5 min.,

Add the tomato paste and red wine and cook for about 15 min., season with salt, add 150 g. of water and simmer for another 5-10 minutes (This sauce can be prepared in advance, and before serving, reheat)

In boiling sauce put the mussels, cover with a lid and keep on heat, shaking, until the mussels are open.
