Sweet and sour chicken
Sweet and sour chicken with plum sauce with chocolate and almonds.

Ingredients

  • Chicken

    1 piece

  • Bacon

    50 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Brown sugar

    2 tsp

  • Broth

    300 ml

  • Prunes

    50 g

  • Almonds

    50 g

  • Dark chocolate

    40 g

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Vinegar

    2 tsp

  • Salt

  • Peppers red hot chilli

Cooking

In a frying pan (skillet) with thick walls fry the bacon and onions until Golden brown.

Chicken cut into serving pieces, add to the onion and bacon and fry until Golden brown (5-7 minutes), turning occasionally.

Pour in the chicken broth, add minced (pressed) garlic, balsamic vinegar. Cover, reduce heat, cook until the meat is tender chicken (30-40 min.).

The almonds are lightly fried in a dry pan.

To shift the chicken pieces in another bowl. Add to the sauce chopped prunes, chocolate, cook over low heat for 5 minutes stirring constantly.

Add to sauce, nuts, salt, pepper. Mix well.

Serve chicken watering sauce.
