Meringue pie
And I had in the fridge a huge variety of berries that had to use. And I baked a pie. Very tasty cake with the sourness and tenderness of summer berries.

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Water

    3 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    300 g

  • Vanilla

    1 pack

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

  • Margarine

    50 g

  • Milk

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Fruit

    1 kg

Berries wash, dry in a towel. This time I used raspberries, black and red currants, cherries - all in random proportions (in the sense of how much was in the fridge :))

Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat with a mixer the yolks with the boiling water, gradually adding sugar and vanilla.

Sift the flour with the baking powder. Melt butter. Flour, butter and milk add the yolks and mix well.

The pan thoroughly lubricated. Put on it the dough. Bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 200 C.

Beat the whites with a pinch of salt until it is tight peaks, gradually add sugar. Gently stir in berries.

Remove the baking sheet with the dough and reduce oven temperature to 150 C.

Put the whites with the berries evenly on the dough and bake for another 20 minutes.
