Carrot cake from grandma Anna
La torta di carote con nonna Anna. One day my Italian neighbour gave me a carrot cake, which, I confess, I was delighted, but the fact that the dough contains carrots and I didn't realize until I got her recipe. The cake turns out tender, sweet and flavorful, just melt in your mouth. But its main advantage is the ease, speed of cooking and availability of products.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    2 cup

  • Sugar

    2 cup

  • Vegetable oil

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Leavening agent

    15 g

  • Carrots

    300 g

  • Butter

    1 Tbsp

So let's begin... peel the carrot and boil until cooked.

The cooled carrot grind to puree mass.

Add to the carrots with the sugar and mix well.

Then add in the mashed eggs one at a time, beating well with mixer or whisk.

Then in the dough add in the following order: vegetable oil, flour (mix well) and finally enter the baking powder, mix gently with a spoon from top to bottom.

Pour our dough in the form greased with butter and put in oven for 25-30 minutes (oven to 175-180C).

The finished cake decorate as desired or simply sprinkle with icing sugar.
