Bread with lard and cucumber
Spicy bread with a crispy garlic crust.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 tsp

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Rye flour

    180 g

  • Flour

    150 g

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Fat

    35 g

  • Pickled cucumber

    1 piece

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

Cooking

Mix all ingredients for the dough, cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 20 minutes.

The finished dough pour in a deep bowl, add salt, butter and sifted flour, mix well.

Then add marinated cucumber, grated on a fine grater.

And fat cut into small cubes. Mix well.

In the end, add sifted flour and knead the dough. The dough roll into a ball and transfer to a clean bowl. Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 2 hours.

Punch down the risen dough and divide into 2 parts.

Form grease with vegetable oil, put in dough, cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes. Bake in preheated to 200 degrees oven for 40 minutes.

While the bread is still hot, grate it on all sides with garlic salt. Cool to lukewarm and serve. Bon appetit!
