Description

Sicheniki (Ukr. scenici) is a dish of Ukrainian cuisine. Sicheniki represent pellet from minced meat. This recipe seems to me most consistent with the ancient Ukrainian cuisine, which I am very interested in interested in, it is vintage! Cooking is very simple - but that's what made our great-grandmothers) the Word "scenic" comes from the word "whip", i.e. "scenic" is a dish of crushed products.

Ingredients

  • Bacon

    40 g

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Flour

    3 Tbsp

  • Fat

    40 g

  • Salt

  • Water

    40 g

  • Milk

    50 g

  • Black pepper

Meat, I took the pork in the original as well you can take and beef. Fat my homemade salting (salted lard).

Skip the meat twice through a meat grinder, the consistency becomes more uniform and gentle.

Add water and squeeze the garlic. Stir, add salt and pepper.

A good knead. But I went ahead and kneaded with a mixer! The recipe was stated: "the ground is well beaten".

The stuffing seemed to me dry, and I allowed myself to add milk and continued to whisk. The mixing process took about I to 10 minutes.

To form sicheniki - kruglyashi, slightly flatten in the middle, but they need to stay lush. Roll in flour and...

Of course I agree that it's not the most complicated recipe ... BUT these "cutlets" I've never done - and it's really tasty))) nowadays we use a lot of modern appliances for cooking, but the ingredients all those years ago... Bon appétit !!!
