Irish lemon cake with whiskey
A piece of soft and tasty cake to your morning Cup of tea or coffee) Please note that most of ingredients is not given in grams and milliliters.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    480 ml

  • Leavening agent

    1.5 tsp

  • Almonds

    180 ml

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Whiskey

    100 ml

  • Butter

    160 g

  • Sugar

    180 ml

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Cranberry

    150 ml

You need to pre-soak the cranberries in whiskey for at least 3 hours. Cut the lemon peel into strips or small cubes and lightly grind with 80 ml of sugar.

The softened butter vzbit with sugar until lush white foam.

Not stopping to whisk, add the pieces of eggs.

Add flour mixed with salt and baking powder.

Add the ground almonds, mix gently.

Add in the dough zest and cranberries (along with whiskey), again stir gently.

Put the dough in the form greased with oil or covered with parchment paper, flatten and bake for 50-60 minutes in a preheated oven at 175°. The finished cake cool slightly and spread on bars.
