Pilaf.. Who doesn't love risotto? And how many different options of cooking there is! I decided to share with you the Lite version of pilaf. Sweet, lean, with a very interesting taste! This risotto can afford, even those who are watching the calorie intake. Portion of pilaf contains only 256 calories!

Cooking
Carrots and onions chop and saute on medium heat in olive oil for a minute, stirring occasionally.
For this pilaf is the perfect brown rice firms Mistal "Indica BROWN".
To the carrots with the onions add the rice, saute for another minute. Add the chopped dates, lemon zest, broth and water. Pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and cook 45 minutes, will not evaporate yet all the liquid. Stir the pilaf with a fork and add the lemon juice.
Serve the pilaf sprinkled with green onions. All a pleasant appetite!!!
