Meatballs with feta cheese in tomato sauce
Men love meat, and mine is no exception. Recipe inspired by cooking magazine.

Ingredients

  • Salt

  • Figure

    100 g

  • Black pepper

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    500 ml

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Feta

    100 g

  • Pine nuts

    100 g

  • Mushrooms

    200 g

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Minced meat

    700 g

  • Basil

    1 coup

Cooking

Boil the rice until cooked (cooking time indicated on the package)

Nuts grind in a blender. Onion, garlic and mushrooms finely chop, fry in olive oil until tender.

In minced meat add egg and mix. Add salt, pepper.

Add to the minced rice, nuts, mushrooms with onions and garlic. Mix thoroughly.

Feta cut into cubes.

Take a small amount of stuffing, form a pellet, in the centre put a piece of feta and roll the ball, so the cheese was inside. Repeat with the remaining meat.

Fry the meatballs in a frying pan, heated with oil, both sides until Golden brown. Then put the tomatoes in juice and cook under cover for 20 minutes.

Serve the croquettes hot, sprinkle any fresh herbs (parsley, dill or Basil).
