Ingredients

  • Carrots

    1 kg

  • Sugar

    1 kg

  • Citric acid

    3 g

  • Vanilla

    3 g

Young carrots rinse well in hot water.

For 10 minutes in a pot with boiling water, discard in a colander, cool, peel, cut into cubes. To prepare the syrup 500 gr. sugar and 500 mil. water. in hot syrup put the carrots.

Carrots can withstand 6 hours on low heat bring to a boil and cook for 8 min. Remove from heat, stand for 12 hours. Pour the rest of the sugar and on low heat cook until tender.

At the end of cooking add citric acid, vanilla or cinnamon. Spread the jam In a dry banks hot. Sterilize half-liter jars-10 min. to Roll up.
