Cheese-pomegranate pie
Fast and very easy to make a cake. The basis of minced dough, then the cheese layer, top layer can be anything, from my pomegranate jam.. Perfect opportunity to use jam, which stagnated in the fridge..

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Butter

    130 g

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Cheese

    500 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Milk

    0.5 cup

  • Semolina

    2 Tbsp

  • Jam

    1 cup

  • Starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Mint

    0.5 tsp

RUB the flour with butter and 0.5 Cup sugar in the crumb. Cover with cling film and put into the refrigerator.

Curd grind through a sieve.

Add in cheese and milk, eggs, remaining sugar and semolina, mix well.

Pomegranate jam prepared this way: select all of the grain from pomegranate, crush, add sugar to taste, bring to boil and boil for a few minutes, strain through a sieve. Put back on the heat, add the thickener (e.g. Quintin), boil for a few minutes, pour into sterilized jars and roll up. So, pomegranate jam add mint, starch and mix well.

On the bottom of a baking dish put half of the crumbs of flour and oil. Flatten lightly pressing down.

Put the cheese mass.

Put pomegranate jam (better to do 5 millimeters), smooth.

Top evenly pour the remaining crumbs. Preheat the oven to 200 gr. Bake for 50 minutes. Cool.
