Pancake with wild rice
I suggest You bake a pancake with the addition of wild rice. Interesting flavor, a wonderful combination.

Ingredients

  • Wild rice

    80 g

  • Water

    220 ml

  • Milk

    350 ml

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    220 g

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Leavening agent

    1 Tbsp

  • Vanilla

    1 pack

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Wash rice, cover with water, bring to a boil and cook over low heat until tender. If You want to bake a pancake for Breakfast, then it is better to boil rice in the evening and in the morning had to prepare the dough, because the rice is cooked for a long time.

Combine milk, egg, salt, vanilla, sugar, wild rice and mix thoroughly.

Then add the flour and baking powder. Stir until smooth.

In the dough pour vegetable oil, stir and bake.

On a dry pan with a tablespoon spread the dough and fry on medium heat on both sides. Flip when pancake is covered with bubbles and the second side is enough to sear 1-2 minutes.
