Spicy medley of beans with mushrooms
This dish can be prepared the day before the party and reheat before serving.

Ingredients

  • Beans

  • Mushrooms

  • Onion

  • Vegetable oil

  • Cumin

  • Lemon juice

I used red beans "Kidney" and white "Lima" from the Mistral. (Soaked white kidney beans and forgot to take a picture, so the photo is an empty packet of white beans). Soak the beans overnight in separate bowls. Boil red beans for 1 hour and 30 minutes white. Decanting the liquid.

Chop the mushrooms into 4 pieces.

Chop the onion and garlic.

Heat a large frying pan butter, put cinnamon and quickly sauté (cinnamon, I didn't put, because we don't like her). Add the onion, garlic, fry a little.

Put in a pan with onions and mushrooms, sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add coriander, cumin, turmeric.

Add beans, tomatoes. Bring to boil and simmer under cover for 20 minutes. Before serving, pour lemon juice and sprinkle with herbs.
