Vegetable pancakes with oatmeal and apples
Fragrant, tasty pancakes with healthy additives for the Lenten table.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    230 g

  • Bran

    20 g

  • Oat flakes

    50 g

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Sunflower oil

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Soda

    0.5 tsp

In a separate bowl, mix flour mixture: flour+rolled oats+wheat bran+yeast. In a large bowl (2.5 liters) pour 500 ml of warm water, dissolve in water 1 tsp sugar (from the total volume), stir in flour mixture, knead the dough. The bowl with the dough cover with clingfilm, leave in a warm place for 1.5 hours.

From orange squeeze juice (optional grate the zest (I add in the dough)), Apple grate (with peel), mix with orange juice, add the Apple soda, stir (lots of "hissing")

In the "risen" dough add salt (0,3 tsp), remaining sugar, Apple-orange mixture, 3 tbsp of sunflower oil, stir. The bowl with the dough put in a warm place for 30 minutes. The passage of time, bake pancakes in vegetable oil, the desired shape.

Serve pancakes hot with liquid honey.
