Fish in pomegranate sauce
Spicy dish for lovers of Georgian cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Fish

    1 kg

  • Pomegranate juice

    1 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Red sweet pepper

    1 piece

  • Walnuts

    0.5 cup

  • Tomato paste

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Flour

Cooking

Fish wash, cut into pieces, dip them in flour and fry in vegetable oil.

Cut onion, fry and add to the fish.

Pepper cut into cubes, fry.

The nuts are pounded together with garlic, diluted with water.

Add to the frying pan to the pepper. This also put the tomato paste, allow to simmer and add pomegranate juice.

Boil, salt, add the fish with onions. Stew for 5 minutes.

The finished fish spread on a plate, served with rice.
