Pilaf of wild rice and pearl barley
Do not have to combine the wild rice with other rice varieties, it is possible with any other barley which is boiled for 60 minutes. I did with barley, from myself I can add that it is also very tasty! Wild rice is very healthy for the body. Ingredients

  • Wild rice

    0.5 cup

  • Pearl barley

    0.75 cup

  • Broth

    3.5 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

  • Greens

I take barley and wild rice aquatics from the company Mistral. Rice and barley wash.

Prepare the required vegetables.

Carrots, onion, bell pepper slice.

In a cauldron or frying pan, heat vegetable oil, add the vegetables. Fry until the vegetables are soft, then add the chopped clove of garlic.

To the vegetables add wild rice with pearl barley, stir fry 3 minutes.

Pour in the broth, salt, pepper. Bring to a boil, cover.

And cook on a slow fire, without disturbing 50-60 minutes until all the broth is absorbed. Let stand for 5 minutes under the lid.
