Description

Rice with coconut milk and spices, very fragrant, bright yellow color.

Ingredients

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Ginger

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon grass

    1 piece

  • Cardamom

    4 piece

  • Turmeric

    1 tsp

  • Peanuts

    0.25 cup

  • Coconut shavings

    0.25 cup

  • Cilantro

    2 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

    1.5 cup

  • Coconut milk

    270 ml

  • Broth

    3 cup

Cooking

Garlic and ginger chopped finely, add the lemon grass ( in English it's lemon-grass), cardamom, turmeric.

In skillet, heat olive oil and fry the spices for 30 seconds or until fragrant.

Add the rice, mix well until rice is yellow.

To the rice add the coconut milk, mix well.

Then pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, reduce heat, nutriti the pan with a lid and cook for 12-15 minutes, until the rice has absorbed all the liquid.

While cooking the rice, fry coconut and salted peanuts (I have pine nuts), so I added salt. Cut cilantro. When serving rice sprinkled with roasted coconut flakes, peanuts and cilantro. BON APPETIT!
