Cod with chickpeas and spinach
Suggest you try a rather unusual dish – cod with chickpeas and spinach. Chickpeas goes well with a fish dish cooked in fish broth, a very rich, but not heavy.

Ingredients

  • Cod

    300 g

  • Chickpeas

    150 g

  • Potatoes

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Spinach

    200 g

  • Broth

    2 cup

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Paprika sweet

    1 tsp

  • Zira

    1 tsp

  • Parsley

For this dish you need to prepare the fish broth. Soup mix fish, onion, carrot, celery, Bay leaf to boil for one hour, season with salt. Drain.

Cod cut into portions of 150 g approximately. Preheat the pan with oil and put the pieces of cod with the skin down. Sauté for a few minutes, remove from the pan.

Onion and garlic finely chop. Fry in same oil for 5 minutes.

Potatoes cut into cubes.

Add to the onions with the garlic. Fry for 5 min.

Spinach slice.

Add to the vegetables.

Add the boiled chickpeas and 2 cups of fish broth, add salt, add the paprika, cumin and cook for about 12 minutes.

Add the cod and heat it for another 5 minutes, stirring.

When serving, garnish with parsley.
