Plum chutney
Very aromatic, delicious! Perfect with meat or just with fresh bread.

Ingredients

  • Drain

    200 g

  • Red onion

    100 g

  • Sugar

    50 g

  • Vinegar

    50 ml

  • Carnation

    2 piece

  • Cardamom

    2 piece

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 piece

  • Ginger

  • Chili

    1 piece

  • Coriander

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Olive oil

    1 tsp

1. Plums cleaned of seeds.

2. Cover with sugar. Cloves and cardamom seeds crushed.

3. In a pan heat the oil, add the spices (except cinnamon and ginger) and heat it on low heat for 30 seconds. Onion cut into half rings and add to pan, cook, stirring 3 minutes.

4. Then add the plums, vinegar, cinnamon, grated ginger, bring to boil, reduce heat to low. To cook. while the mass will resemble a jam. The time depends on the juiciness of the plums.

5. Then pour chutney into sterile jars, if you cook a lot and tightly sealed. Bon appetit!
