Turkish cakes with dill and stuffing
Turkish Pouch with fennel and potatoes/cheese. Dereotlu kucuk pogaca. Pouch suitable for Breakfast, tea, snack and even on the holiday table. Filling of boiled potatoes or cheese will complement the fragrant dough and deliver flavor.

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Yogurt

    1 cup

  • Milk

    1 cup

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    0.5 cup

  • Dill

  • Sugar

    0.5 tsp

  • Flour

    5 cup

  • Potatoes

  • Soft cheese

  • Cumin

  • Yeast

    10 g

Cooking

Prepare the ingredients for the dough. Sift the flour, warm milk, dill finely chop.

Mix the yogurt, egg, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, dill.

Add the milk, yeast and flour. Knead the dough. Leave the dough for 1 hour in a warm place.

Formed small patties, putting in a small amount of stuffing of potato, or white (or any other) cheese. For those who have access to Turkish stores.. good LOR cheese (Lor peynir).

Brushing with egg yolk and sprinkle black cumin (Cherek oti - Çörek otu) sent in a preheated 180 degree oven (about 20 minutes).
