Meat balls with a salty-sweet sauce with a light spicy, aromatic hint of sesame. For the recipe thanks to Catherine (home_chef).

Ingredients

  • Minced meat

    500 g

  • Crumb bread

    0.5 cup

  • Green onions

    2 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Ginger

    2 tsp

  • Soy sauce

    105 ml

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Allspice

    1 to taste

  • Brown sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Sesame oil

    1 tsp

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

  • Corn starch

    2 Tbsp

  • Sesame

    1 Tbsp

  • Greens

The original recipe takes pork minced meat, I took beef. Add chopped green onions (I had frozen), half a Cup of bread crumbs, 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp fresh grated ginger and 1 clove of chopped garlic.

Add the egg and carefully knead the meat.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Baking tray lay with foil. From ready-made stuffing to form balls of a diameter of about 35-40 mm. pour into pan and bake for 20 minutes.

At this time, prepare the sauce. Mix 0,5 Cup. brown sugar, 0.5 Cup. of water, 0.5 stack. soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp fresh grated ginger and 1 tbsp sesame seeds. Volume 200 ml beaker. tip: if you do not like sweet, add less sugar.

Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.

Corn starch mixed with 2 tbsp water and pour into sauce, stirring constantly on low heat to bring the sauce until thick.

Meat balls are ready remove from the oven.

Fry in hot sauce and mix well. Turn off the heat and allow to soak for 10 minutes.
