Orange-almond cupcakes
These amazing cupcakes with a dense texture, rich citrus aroma and delicate almond flavor very good to the Cup of morning coffee.

Ingredients

  • Almonds

    100 g

  • Flour

    4 Tbsp

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Jam orange

  • Mandarin

    2 piece

  • Liqueur

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

Prepare the almonds. For this almond fill with hot water and leave for 30 minutes. Then peel and dried in the oven.

Put in blender and grind until fine grains. If you have almond flour, skip this step.

In a bowl sift sugar, flour and baking powder

Mix the almond and flour mixture.

Eggs, beat with a pinch of salt, add liqueur, pour in the batter, stir.

Melt butter, slightly cool, pour in the batter, stir.

Finely chop the candied orange and add to the dough.

Knead well.

Molds for muffins grease with butter.

Fold the pastry moulds.

Bake in a preheated 180 C oven until tender. In small molds cupcakes I have baked 15 minutes, in large 25-30 minutes. Baking time depends on oven and thickness of the muffins. I check the dry wooden skewer. When applying to enhance the orange flavor garnishes jam and fresh citrus fruit.
