Pumpkin soup with beans and wild rice

  • Pumpkin

  • Onion

  • Spices

  • Salt

  • Allspice

Beans pre-soak in water at least for 2-3 hours. If you're cooking pumpkin, you need it cut into pieces and boil until tender. Then blend it in a blender. I stocked up on pumpkin puree in the season. Bake the pumpkin in the oven, Porirua and freeze. Very handy for soups and pies.
