Shrimp in coconut with a spicy Thai sauce (Coconut Shrimp)
Pretty popular recipe, but for some reason this site is not found. Decided to correct the error! The shrimp turn out incredibly delicious! Not once cooked. Guests and Pets always love it!

Ingredients

  • Shrimp

  • Coconut shavings

  • Vegetable oil

  • Beer

  • Flour

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Vinegar

    2 Tbsp

  • Ginger

    2 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Pepper Cayenne

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

Shrimp is better to take big, shelled but with the tail. Cut the shrimp as pictured

Prepare the batter: beer+flour, salt. Dip shrimp in batter...

And then in the coconut. On this photo I mixed the chips with breadcrumbs, but don't do that anymore, and you shouldn't, because it drowned out the taste of coconut.

Fry in oil until Golden brown.

Ready shrimp are resting on paper towels, getting rid of excess oil.

Meanwhile, make the sauce. Water, vinegar and sugar combine in saucepan and, stirring, wait until the sugar has dissolved. Boil is not necessary.

The ginger three on a small grater. Garlic to squeeze through the masher or melenko shinkuem.

All of the remaining ingredients, add to the saucepan and on slow fire vivarium. The sauce should not be thick, but sticky.
