A simple sponge cake with gooseberries
I wanted to make a sponge cake, but the apples are not yet ripe, and the gooseberries - more than enough! Worried, of course, that will be sour, so I added a little more sugar, and despite all my fears, with gooseberries instead of apples turned out delicious homemade cake!

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    5 piece

  • Sugar

    1.5 cup

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Vanilla

    0.25 tsp

  • Gooseberry

    500 g

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

The eggs are whipped into foam, gradually add sugar, then flour, baking powder and vanilla.

Gooseberries, washed, cleaned, cut in half, sprinkled with cinnamon.

In form, lined with baking paper, laid out a third of the dough, then half the filling, then the second third of the test, the second half of the filling and the last third of the test.

The cake is baked first at a temperature of 150 degrees for about 40 minutes and then another 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
