Very similar in taste to brownies Italian "Torta Pane e Cioccolata" - slightly moist inside and rich chocolate flavor - and chocolate is never too much!

Ingredients

  • Milk

    500 ml

  • Raisins

  • Chicken egg

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Cocoa powder

    50 g

  • Dark chocolate

    150 g

  • Almonds

    50 g

The bread need not very fresh, and 2 - 3 days. With a fresh loaf to cut off the crust and crumb to break into small pieces, allow to dry. Dry bread pour milk, soak it and squeeze.

Soak raisins. Chocolate and butter melt in a water bath.

Beat eggs with sugar, add the cocoa powder and the butter-chocolate mixture. All knead.

To the mixture add the soaked and squeezed bread, raisins, almond crumb. Mix well. Optionally, you can add to the batter the orange zest. If there are no almonds - you can quite do without it or to replace, for example, hazelnuts.

Form of grease with butter, sprinkle with flour and pour the batter. Bake in preheated to 180 degree oven for about 1 hour. I baked it in a round shape from the norm in the original - cupcake form.
