Pancake pie with salmon, fried onions and cheese real festive treat. When you expect guests on carnival the best ever. Pancakes can be anything, but better if they are thin and slightly sweet, then the filling will be felt brighter, and the cake will be sweeter taste and beautiful to look at! For the cake I made pancakes on a fast yeast SAF-Moment.

  • Milk

    1.5 cup

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Chicken egg

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Salmon

    200 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Cheese

    4 Tbsp

  • Cream

    80 ml

  • Dill

    3 sprig

  • Green onions

    1 piece

  • Black pepper

  • Bread crumbs

    1 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

Prepare products for pancake pie with salmon.

First you need to make pancakes, because it is one of the main components of the pie. I have a yeast pancakes. Will razbate milk with egg and sugar, add salt. Pour the melted butter. Add flour and yeast SAF-Moment. Make the dough. Flour may need a little more. Let stand in a warm place for 30-40 minutes, until the yeast start to work.

Fry pancakes in the usual way on the crepe maker or frying pan.

Prepare the filling for the pie. Will razbate egg with cream, add salt.

Onions clear and we shall cut small cubes. Fry it until Golden brown. Pink salmon will be cut into fillets and cut in small pieces.

For the filling mix fresh fillet of salmon, fried onions, grated cheese and finely chopped parsley. To taste season with salt and pepper.

Now formed cake. I have a form of small,12 cm in diameter. So the pancakes I cut it in half. If the form is large, then put some pancakes overlapping, so that the edges hanging. Now spread the filling, pour the egg-cream filling (2-3 tbsp). Then spread the pancake and again, filling and shading. The so formed cake layer by layer. Closes pie pancake. The top of the cake sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs.

Bake pie in oven for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees. To get the pie out of the oven, let cool slightly and release from form.
