Rice with liver (iç pilav)
Ic pilav. One of the rice recipes from Turkish cuisine. Served as a side dish, or as a separate dish as it is filling. The rice turns out very tasty! You can use liver of lamb or chicken.

Ingredients

    2 cup

  • Chicken liver

    200 g

  • Olive oil

  • Butter

  • Pine nuts

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Raisins

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Broth

    3.5 cup

  • Cinnamon

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Cooking

For starters, a good fried chopped liver and onions. Salt.

In skillet, heat olive oil, fry the peanuts. Add washed rice. Stir for a few minutes.

Add the beef broth. Cook first on high heat (1-2 minutes), add salt, spices, raisins, then on low heat under closed lid (10-12 min.).

As water will not be added fried liver with onions. Mix well. Turn off the heat. Cover with paper towel for 20-30 minutes.

Serve, if desired, with parsley. BON APPETIT!!!
