Hot, quinoa salad
It is truly a magical cereal. http://www.povarenok .EN/articles/show/15 56/ And here is the first dish that I found on the Internet and prepared. It turned out not only delicious, but luxurious and festive! Now quinoa is my constant food. Just say - I cooked half the quantity of ingredients specified in the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Quinoa

    1 cup

  • Water

    3 cup

  • Salt

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Cauliflower

    1.5 piece

  • Sweet pepper

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Corn

    0.5 can

  • Cumin

    0.5 tsp

  • Oregano

    1 tsp

  • Green onions

    2 piece

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Quinoa rinse thoroughly in several waters, went to the bitterness. Place in a saucepan, cover with water, lightly salt. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Drain the water, to be postponed.

While cooking quinoa in a deep and wide frying pan heat over medium heat olive oil. fry the garlic in the oil for a few seconds, making sure that it is not burnt.

Add diced red pepper ( I had yellow), corn ( I used canned) and grated on a coarse grater carrots. Fry for about 5 minutes, until the peppers are soft.

Season with cumin (cumin), oregano, salt and pepper. keep on heat for another minute.

Add to the pan of quinoa and finished cauliflower. (by the way, the original recipe of cauliflower - I felt like it)a little stir.

Remove from heat, add green onion, all put into a bowl, stir and serve.

This dish suitable as a side dish, or as a separate dish. I was eating it with fried fish. Delicious! Just a holiday!
