Ginger cookies
This is a terrific recipe for a delicious crispy and tender cookies. It will be enjoyed by both kids and adults with coffee or as a snack with red dry wine. Labor costs are minimized and the result will exceed all expectations!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Brown sugar

    100 g

  • Honey

    3 Tbsp

  • Ginger

    1 tsp

  • Soda

    1 tsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Sugar, butter (softened), honey to combine in a saucepan and warm on low heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Flour mixed with soda, ginger and salt (if You just opened a new package with ginger, you can pour a little less than a teaspoon because the flavor will be very intense. When the bag will stand open part of the flavor it loses, you can safely pour a spoonful)

Pour in the flour in the melted sugar and knead the dough.

On parchment, roll out the dough too thin but not thick. About 2-3 mm (in the oven the cookies will rise). Often the dough is rolled between two sheets of parchment, I'm not doing because I can't catch the right thickness. Do as You wish.
