Scones with cherry jam
I want to offer open yeast cakes with cherry jam.


  • Butter

    3 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    0.5 tsp

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Essence

  • Jam

  • Vegetable oil

  • Topping pastry


In warm milk bred yeast SAF-MOMENT, until dissolved. Add the sugar, butter and flour. Add the essence. Knead the dough.
Dish grease with vegetable oil and put in it the dough. Cover the dish with a lid and put it in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
The dough is divided into pieces. From each piece make a cake. On one cake, put jam. The second cake make holes and cover the cake jam. Edge stung.
Ready cake spread on a baking sheet. Put in preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for about half an hour.
Finished cakes remove from the pan. If desired they can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or candy sprinkles. Enjoy your tea!
