Ingredients

  • Beets

    250 g

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Cocoa powder

    75 g

  • Wholegrain wheat flour

    175 g

  • Brown sugar

    165 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 tsp

  • Sunflower oil

    150 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

The dough cooks very quickly. So immediately put to the oven warmed up to 180 degrees. Grind the beets in a heterogeneous puree with a blender or grater.

Whisk the eggs, add to them the sunflower oil. The original recipe was 200 ml of oil, but it seemed to me that a lot and I added 150 ml. In my opinion this number is sufficient.

In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Sift cocoa powder, flour, add the sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Mix well. Add chopped beets to the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir again.

Pour in the beaten eggs with sunflower oil. Last stir. Get a mass density like liquid sour cream.

Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. After 30 minutes, cover the form with foil, so the pie is not burnt. Completely cool cake in the form, then place on a dish.

The finished product sprinkle with powdered sugar. Top three dark chocolate. In the center of the pie put a pile of berries or fruit (I had cranberries). Served with whipped with sugar and cream or ice cream. Another option of submission - whip the cream with sugar and put on pie. Decorate according to your desire.
